The 2023 Spring Simcha was huge success! The Brandeis Marin community came together to celebrate Israeli's 75th Birthday, Sharon and Orr Shakked, and each other with wonderful food, art, music, and culture.

Sharon and Orr have served with distinction as volunteer leaders of Brandeis Marin for over 12 years. From the start-up days of 2014 to the challenging years of the pandemic, Orr’s nine-year career on the board of trustees and extended term as President has been nothing short of consequential. Brandeis Marin can always count on the Shakkeds to show up, share their talents, and lead the way. They represent what is best about our community – families sharing themselves to fulfill the promise of tomorrow.
